A GRA begins between August 9th and September 1st.

The duration is either 6 or 12 months (the majority are 12 months).  A student works through the winter and/or summer.

The Maximum a GRA Includes:

Stipend (12 month)                                              $19,000.00

Health Insurance (student only)                             $2055.00* (maximum)

Tuition Remission (up to 10 credits)                       $3,730.00* (maximum)

To Be Paid by the Student:

Fees                                                                    $340.00* (maximum)

*Subject to change based on university increases. These amounts are as of July 1, 2006 for 1 full year of insurance.
