 Ram Miller received a BSc. in Physics and his Doctor of Medicine degree from McGill University, Montreal Quebec Canada, and received his MSc in epidemiology from Boston University.
His major research interest focuses upon the mechanisms that influence recovery from disability in older adults. This has included examining the relation of comorbid disease, inflammatory processes and changes in muscle with the recovery.
Dr. Miller received the 2005 American Geriatrics Society New Investigator Award, and the 2005 Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, Medical Student Teaching Award. |
