Sue Dorsey received a B.S. in Nursing from West Virginia Wesleyan College, and an M.S in Informatics and Ph.D. in Nursing  from the University of Maryland School of Nursing.

Her research interests include bioinformatics, gene sequencing. neuropathies.  basic and translational research,  and genetics.
